Brainmify ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at brainmify.com and all associated services (collectively, "the Platform").
Information you provide directly: Account registration data (username, email address, password), profile information, content you create using our AI tools (prompts, generated content, uploaded files), payment and billing information processed through our payment providers, and communications with us (support requests, feedback).
Information collected automatically: Device information (browser type, operating system), IP address and approximate location, usage data (features used, pages visited, timestamps), cookies and similar tracking technologies, and error logs and performance data.
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Platform; process transactions and manage subscriptions; send important notifications about your account; respond to your requests and provide customer support; analyze usage patterns to improve our services; detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats; comply with legal obligations; and personalize your experience on the Platform.
When you use Brainmify's AI features, your prompts and inputs are sent to AI model providers (such as Groq, OpenAI, or Anthropic) for processing. We do not use your personal data or content to train AI models. Your conversation history is stored securely and associated with your account. You can delete your conversations at any time. AI-generated content is not stored by third-party AI providers beyond the processing session.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay) to process transactions; AI service providers (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic) to provide AI features; cloud infrastructure providers to host and operate the Platform; and legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights. All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure password hashing, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, access controls and authentication mechanisms, and secure cloud infrastructure with AWS. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We use analytics cookies to understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. The Platform may not function properly if essential cookies are disabled.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; delete your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing of your data; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation history is retained until you delete it or close your account. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations. After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
Brainmify is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
Brainmify operates from India. If you are accessing the Platform from outside India, please be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to India.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
