We are seeking a highly skilled Machine System Developer to join our team in Peoria, Illinois. As a key member of a small team of Cooling Engineers and Machine Validation Engineers, you will work closely to review designs, develop test plans, prepare instrumentation, execute tests, analyze results, and communicate results/recommendations back to Product Design teams. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent collaboration and communication skills.
✅ Plans, sets up, executes tests and analyzes and reports results and recommendations.
✅ Supports experienced Cooling Engineers by overseeing test set up and execution.
✅ Takes ownership of planning and delivering projects as capability is demonstrated.
✅ Collaborates with the team to review designs and develop test plans.
✅ Prepares instrumentation, executes tests, and analyzes results.
📌 Requires a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering curriculum that included Thermodynamics/Fluid Dynamics (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.).
📌 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
📌 Good understanding of Thermodynamic systems and instrumentation like thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, etc.
📌 Ability to perform physical work (climb large machines, turn wrenches, etc.).
📌 Effective and safe use of hand tools.
