PMEGP (subsidy for a new enterprise)

What you get

A subsidy of 15% to 35% of the project cost for a new micro enterprise (projects up to ₹50 lakh in manufacturing and ₹20 lakh in services); the highest rates are for women, SC/ST, OBC and others in rural areas.

Who can get it

Anyone aged 18 or more starting a new unit (not for existing businesses). For larger projects you need to have passed class 8.

  • Caste or special-category certificate if any
